How It Works:

Fibre Boost contains emulsifiers and fibres which help control the intake of fats in the system where they are usually stored in fat cells before the body can use them as a source of energy. There are two types of fibre:insoluble and soluble. The insoluble fibre, which does not absorb water, works like a broom in the large intestine to promote regularity. Soluble fibre, which absorbs many times its own weight in water, binds with fat and cholesterol in the intestinal tract. This excess fat is then carried out of the gastrointestinal tract as waste, rather than being re-absorbed.

Ingredients:

Medicinal Ingredients:Each capsule contains Plantago ovata (psyllium) husk 273 mg and Stellaria media (chickweed) herb top 142 mg. Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Gelatin, soy lecithin, guar gum, sodium bicarbonate, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.

Recommended Use:

Dosage (adults): Take five capsules twice daily. For each dose (i.e. 5 capsules), take with 45 mL of liquid (e.g. water, milk, fruit juice or similar aqueous beverage). Take 2 hours before or after taking other medications. Effects observed 12-24 hours after first dose, and may take 2-3 days. Maintain adequate fluid intake.
