Iron with Vitamin C is vitamin, mineral and herbal combination designed to nutritionally support the body’s need for iron. Iron is part of hemoglobin, the oxygen-carrying component of the blood. In fact, the Lactobacillus genus is widely used in making cheese and yogurt. It creates bacteriocins, which help prevent food spoilage. Acidophilus was Nature’s Sunshine’s first probiotic supplement. It has been popular for nearly three decades!

Ingredients

Medicinal Ingredients: Each capsule contains Lactobacillus rhamnosus (ATCC 7469) 2.8 billion cfu, Lactobacillus acidophilus (ATCC 4356) 800 million cfu and Bifidobacterium longum subsp. longum (ATCC 15707) 400 million cfu. Non-medicinal Ingredients: Gelatin, maltodextrin and magnesium stearate.

Recommended Use:

Dosage (adults, adolescents and children 6 years of age and older): Take two capsules daily. If you are on antibiotics or antifungals, take at least 2-3 hours before or after.

Risk Information: If you have fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain, consult a practitioner prior to use. Barely 100 years since its discovery, B. coagulans was first isolated in 1915 by B.W. Hammer at the Iowa Agricultural Experiment Station after a batch of evaporated milk became coagulated. Luckily, humans have discovered and experienced its benefits too! Inulin was first observed in 1804 by Valentin Rose, a German scientist who found a peculiar substance when he boiled the roots of elecampane flower. Much of the inulin in today’s market is harvested from chicory roots.
