Nature's Sunshine Slippery Elm grows widely throughout North America. The bark contains a mucilage that makes a slippery substance when combined with water. This mucilage is very soothing to the mucous membranes of the digestive and intestinal systems. Slippery elm contains up to 50% mucilage.
Medicinal Ingredients: Each capsule contains Ulmus rubra (slippery elm) inner stem bark 360 mg. Non-medicinal Ingredients: Gelatin, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide.
Dosage (adults): Take two capsules three times daily. Take with water and maintain adequate fluid intake. Take two hours before or after taking other medications or health products.
