Medicinal Ingredients: Each capsule contains Rhamnus purshiana (cascara sagrada) stem bark 205 mg; Rhamnus frangula (alder buckthorn) stem and branch bark 84 mg; Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) root and stolon 72 mg; Rheum officinale (turkey rhubarb) root 12 mg; Capsicum annuum (cayenne) fruit 7 mg; Zingiber officinale (ginger) rhizome 7 mg; Berberis aquifolium (Oregon grape) root and rhizome 3 mg; Elymus repens subsp. repens (couch grass) rhizome 3 mg and Trifolium pratense (red clover) flowers 3 mg.

Recommended Use:

Recommendation (adults):

Capsule: Take contents of capsule packet with breakfast and dinner (twice daily).

Powder: Take contents of one cleansing drink mix packet 15-30 minutes before breakfast and 15-30 minutes before dinner (twice daily). Mix cleansing drink mix packet in 250 mL of juice or water. Shake, blend or stir vigorously. Drink immediately. It is recommended that an additional glass of water be consumed immediately after drink. Drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Take 2 hours before or after taking other medications. Allow at least 6 to 12 hours for laxative effect to occur. Effects observed 12- 24 hours after first dose, and may take 2-3 days.

Risk Information: Consult a practitioner prior to use if you have symptoms such as nausea, vomiting or fever; if any medical condition exists or when taking any medication/ health products. Consult a practitioner if symptoms persist and/or worsen. Keep out of the reach of children. If overdose or accidental ingestion occurs, call a Poison Control Center immediately. Consult a practitioner immediately if you experience chest pain, vomiting or difficulty in swallowing/breathing after taking this product. Read and follow recommendations carefully. Do not use if diarrhea, loose stools, stomach ulcers, inflammation or abdominal pain are present or develop. Use of this product may worsen these conditions and be harmful to your health. Chronic diarrhea can result in serious illness. Do not use if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, have diabetes or if you have difficulty swallowing. If you are experiencing severe dehydration; a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks; rectal bleeding; failure to defecate following the use of another laxative product; appendicitis or abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, do not use this product. Do not exceed the recommended dose. May cause an allergic reaction in people sensitive to inhaled/ingested psyllium; in which case, discontinue use. May cause gas, bloating or headaches. Consult a practitioner prior to use if you have paralysis of the intestine, megacolon, or faecal impaction. Reduce dose or discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms and/or diarrhoea. Do not use if you have potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. Hypersensitivity is known to occur, in which case, discontinue use.
