Find an otherworldly feel good with E-Tea, a capsulized version of the historic Essiac Tea made famous by nurse Rene Caisse in the 1920s. Soothe your digestion with concentrated extracts of four powerful time-honored herbs.
E-Tea consists of concentrated extracts of four common herbs based on a traditional Native American formula — burdock root, sheep sorrel aerial parts, slippery elm inner bark and turkey rhubarb root. These ingredients help support immunity and detoxification of the body. NSP’s E-Tea is formulated according to the Essiac tea formula. Named after Rene Caisse (Caisse spelled backwards), a Canadian nurse (circa 1920s), this combination is actually an herbal formula given to her by the Ojibwa Indians. Due to the complexity of the preparation process, it would take hours to make this tea at home. E-Tea provides a convenient capsule form of Essiac Tea.
Medicinal Ingredients: Each capsule contains Arctium lappa (burdock) root 65 mg of a 1.2:1 extract; Rumex acetosa (sorrel) aerial parts 49 mg of a 1.2:1 extract, Ulmus rubra (slippery elm) inner stem bark 12 mg of a 1.2:1 extract and Rheum officinale (turkey rhubarb) root 3 mg of a 1.2:1 extract. Non-medicinal Ingredients: Rice starch, gelatin and silicon dioxide.
Dosage (adults): Take four capsules four times daily. Take a few hours before or after taking medication (may modify intestinal absorption of other medication).
